THESE ARE LETTERS FROM KATHARINA WHO LIVES IN GERMANY, SHE AND HER FRIEND PURCHASED 2 BLUE/WHITE MALES (BROTHERS), AND SHE IS GREAT ABOUT SENDING PICTURES AND UPDATES ON HAL AND HIS NEW SIBLINGS ( STANDARD SIZE POODLES, A PUG AND A SIAMESE CAT!!)  ENJOY!!

Dear Jeanne and Julie,
they are here, finally, and they're wonderful. The state-vet was very impressed about they're condition,
my aunt is so in love that I'm worried she won't let me take them home, and I was very impressed with
your thoughtful, loving little package with vitamins, electrolytes, etc. We've been playing in the kitchen,
played in the garden, napped on my lap on the sun-chair together with my pug (a little crowded, I
admit), they've eaten and right after gone outside, and now they're exhausted. I am, too, actually, but I'll
have quite a way to drive home now. Will tell more tomorrow.
Thy are absolutely gorgeous. Hal - who will be named Harry now - is absolutely my dog already. Thank
you so for helping me choose. It'll just be hard to separate them, but they'll see each other each day.
Kind regards from a very happy
Katharina

Dear Jeanne,

they are the sweetest puppies! I drove five hours with them from Frankfurt to Berlin yesterday, accompanied by my pug, and they slept the entire time. We stopped once and went or a little walk in the woods, where the immediately eliminated, played a little, and then we went back to the car. When we arrived here, we went to play in the dark garden, they went flying over the grass, jumping and running: Gorgeous to watch, like mini-gazelles.
Evelyn came to pick up Hadley last night, which was really quite sad, Harry kept looking for his brother and whining. He slept in my bedroom in a dog bed smudged between my pug and my Siamese cat, it looked very cozy. I woke him this morning at nine o'clock (obviously, I was quite exhausted from that trip, as well), and he immediately started looking for his brother.

Hadley did the same all night and all morning, until she brought him back to baby sit, she had an unforeseeable date quite a distance away, and we both agreed the boys had been doing enough traveling for a while.
They haven't had a single accident in the house; every time they wake up, I carry them downstairs to the garden, where they obediently pee right away, and the rest happens just moments later. They've been sleeping and playing and sleeping all day, ate very well, dry-food mixed with fresh broiled lamb. They are adorable, cuddly and sweet, can't quite decide what to make of the Poodles, the black Louise is in love, whereas the brown "baby" Ida just pretends they're just visiting and will soon be going away, even though deep down, she knows better. And Theo the pug is just the best babysitter, if the little boys start whining, he walks over to their bed and just lies on top of them, which shuts them up right away (probably because they have difficulty breathing with that heavy thing on top of them). But they greeted him very happily when I came back from a very long walk with the three grown-ups and had a dog-sitter watch them in the meantime.
M vet was here to look at them and found them heavenly, sweet and wonderfully adjusted and well brought up, obviously.
Right now they're across the room in their little basket, Hal/Harry is gently licking Hadley's ear, who is sound asleep. It seems cruel to me to separate them, but I can't possible have five dogs, and besides, Evelyn does not seem to be willing to give him up.
They are such happy puppies that really speak for your quality as breeders. You obviously have not just done something, but everything right.
Kind regards, Katharina

Dear Mogck Family:

My husband and I would like to express how honored we both were to have the
chance to visit your facilities.  The visit put our mind at ease that we are
purchasing the very best puppy for us.

In the short two hours of our visitation, the extended love and care from
your family members for each and every puppy you have was made exceptually
clear to both of us.  Each and every puppy seemed very well adjusted and
socialized.

We can not wait to get the puppy you call Keith home to Cincy.  We will be
calling him by the name of Winston.  We promise to send pictures as he
grows.

Again, it was such a pleasure to meet Jeanne, Julie, Jordan, and Emma and
take a tour of your wonderful kennels.  Thank you all again for your time
and superb hospitality.

Always,

John and Tracy
Cincinnati, Ohio
Proud owners of Winston

Julie and family,

John and I wanted to let you know that Winston (Keith) made it to Cincinnati
just fine on Friday, January 26th around 12:15 pm.  He has really adjusted
well to John and I.  He is such a good puppy.  He definitely loves to play
fetch for about an hour to an hour and a half at a time then, he is ready
for a nap.  During his naps he loves to bury his head.

He does not like to go outside to use the bathroom in this cold weather
which I can not blame him one bit.  But, he did start yesterday using the
puppy pad.

All of you were right about how he is such a sweet boy.  Thank you for
allowing us to give him a good home.  I know we already paid for him and to
have him shipped out but, I feel as if we owe you all so much more for this
wonderful puppy that you began raising.  I already started taking plenty of
pictures of him just this weekend and I will send a few in a week or so.  We
hope all family members and canines are happy and healthy.  Take care.

Always,

John, Tracy and Winston

Hello all at Fairview Kennels:

“Gage,” (aka DeNiro) is doing great.  He is sooooo loveable and gives lots of kisses.  He and his “brother” Poochino get along great and are endlessly playing with one another.  His coloring is getting more beautiful every day.  The fawn is showing through the blue so he is almost a taupe color now.  We’ll send some new photos soon.

Take care and have a great day!

Janet

Hi Jeanne!

We couldn’t wait to take a few pics, so here they are.  The sweater is perfect for him because it is quite cold here.  The other pics show his color pretty well, and even his personality….he thinks he’s such a stud!

Surgery next month, though.

Take care,

Janet

Julie
Little Dakota, who I named Sammie, is doing great over here in New York. I
know he is very happy here. I give him plenty of exercise and an excess of
love. He is still crying and whining a lot. It is quite comical. Everybody
that comes over my house gets a kick out of him. He jumps so high on people
and they laugh so much. He also gives everybody kisses right on the mouth,
which some are to fond of. But me I love his kisses. He is so lovable and
makes me very happy. I have been bringing him to a dog run so he can hang
out with some other dogs. He is the most popular dog there. Everybody is so
interested in what kind of dog he is. And he is of course the fastest.

Well I wish you all a very Happy New Year. Keep continuing to breed
beautiful loving puppies.

Thank you so much for my little buddy here.
Love Julie L.

Hi Julie,
These dogs have such a struggle.

Pups are now completely crate trained (sleep all night in their individual crates), and doing very well on the house training too.  We have put in a dog door and they both figured that out within minutes. I think they are figuring out the bells too. They ring the bells (hanging on our back door) to ask to go outside. Browning (Dillon) did his first real ring today. I was so excited. I have been very consistent with all their training, and I think it is finally starting to pay off.

They are both completely devoted to me. I am mom. In the morning after they go out to potty, it is our cuddle time in bed and they come in and join me for an hour or more. They snuggle as close as they can. We do the same thing at night prior to their last going out for potty at 11pm.

Their favorite place in on their dog bed in front of the fire. The cat in the picture is my older cat Orange. The pups love him. Browning always want to sleep right next to him.

They have bonded with my next door neighbor's Airdale Terrier. The run circles around her.

Hope all is well.

Take care,

Mary Beth

Hi Julie & Jeanne,

We just wanted to thank you so much for our little pup (now affectionately known as Ruby).

She made it here just fine and we are really having fun with her! She is such a lap dog and she’s trying very hard to entice the cats to play with her…they will give in eventually :)

I’m attaching some pictures we took of her this weekend so you can see her in her sassy new green coat.

Thank you again for such a terrific Italian greyhound!!

Hi Julie,
I'm not sure if you received my previous email, my email was acting up.  Sully arrived safe and sound...he is wonderful.  Gino and Sully are very different but I think they'll be best buddies.  Sully follows Gino around and already plays fetch.  Here are some pics.

Hi Julie.
Thanks for the pictures.  They are just too cute.  I'm leaning toward
Ashton; let's see what mom thinks. She'll be here in a few hours and I'll be
sure to show her.

Attached is a pix of Leo (with Sophie). He's doing great and has settled
into the family well. He is just the sweetest and we love him dearly.
Thanks so much!!! (Mom needs one just like him.)

Will be in touch. Take care!

Debbie

Dear Julie,
I have been intending to write to you to give you an update on Zach. I have been waiting to get some pictures to send with.
But I  am compelled to write to let you know what a wonderful little dog he is. I absolutely adore him. And he has fit into our little dog and cat family perfectly.
The winter has been a long, very cold and very wet one but he has totally housebroken himself to the dog door and except when the weather is miserable, goes out without his coat or jamies.
About two weeks ago, I started taking him down to the barn with me and the two Border Collies. Zach, on leash with a long bailing string attached around my waist. The past two days, he has just pulled the string and when I call him he races to me leaping and bounding as though I were the most wonderful thing in the world.
Today, I left the dogs in the house while I went to my riding lesson. I left at 8am and returned at 2pm. I was surprised to see Steve on the lane as I drove up to the barn. Then I saw Ned  and my heart sunk. How did they get out of the yard? And where was Zach? Suddenly, Zach raced around from the barn and greeted the truck and trailer as though he has been doing that for his entire life.
I live at the end of the road and my property abuts hills where many cows roam and coyotes sing at night. Little Zach stayed with his big brothers. Turns out, the magnetic catch on the gate was sprung and the gate only had to be nudged open.
Zach had his first day of puppy class at Pet Smart last week.  I think he is going to do well. He is smart and willing. He is getting over his shyness of strangers and only takes a short while to warm up to visitors.
I have to tell you that if I did not have four horses and two dogs and four cats, I would get another IG in a heartbeat.  But Zach has two big brothers who allow him to take toys out of their mouths and to investigate their food while they are eating. He climbs all over tham with no respect at all and they just smile and groan a bit.
Thank you for breeding such wonderful little guys and making them so affordable. Zach is worth a million or more to me. I wil lsend pictures soon. Hope you are all doing well and that winter has slackend a bit.
Pat S.

This is Sawyer all grown up.  We love him, you can't have him back!  We have a litter of his on puppyfind.com.  They are all super.  I believe we have the seal/white girl sold.  He's just a super dog inside and out.  Ron & Diane

Hi Julie!

I don't know if you remember him or not, but he was born two years ago
May 10, 2004.  His parents were Rosie and Kiowa, anyway I recently got a new
digital camera and have been trying to catch him when I think about it!  He
is such the snuggle bug and a real sweet boy, we couldn't do without him!

     Malinda

Hi.
I'm writing to let you know Lyle is doing great.  He has settled into our family nicely.  He is learning to sit and shake. He has already learned down. He's a very smart little guy.

I'm attaching a picture of him swimming in Nominy Bay during our vacation.  He really loved the sand after he figured out he shouldn't eat it. LOL

We are thinking of adding another IG to our family. I really think your Katie is a pretty girl.  Are you planning to breed her in the near future? We also like Sonya. What is her personality like?

Thanks again for Lyle and we look forward to hearing from you.
Natalie Q.

This reference is from a wonderful Lady in Las Vegas.  She purchased her first IG, "Kobi" in 2002 and just recently purchased "Suede" in 2005.  Here are her boys!!

Hi, Jeanne,

I just wanted to let you know that Buzz Lightyear, formerly  your
Emilio, has fit in so nicely with my other two Italian Greyhounds.
They totally adore each other.  Buzz's personality is really
outstanding.  I've attached a picture of him in his snow gear.  He is
so funny and loving.  Thank you so much!

Hi Jeanne,

I hope everything is well with you and your family.
Just wanted to let you know that Luca is doing just great. He is a very smart dog and he knows how to use that to his advantage. (smile) He is growing quite nicely and we actually start puppy classes on Tuesday 3-16-04. He is growing up to be a very handsome young dog.  Thank you for having such great  puppies!!!
I am sending a recent photo  of him.
One question though. Do you know if  and how I can get another Avid ID tag?. Luca has had a field day chewing it up.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will talk to you soon. Take care and God Bless!

Hi Jeanne

Its been along time since we spoke.  Just wanted to touch base with you on how the dogs are doing.  Elton we named Lucca and kept the name of Tessa.  Lucca has gotten big and weighs 10 lbs and 14 inches tall.  Tessa is so much smaller than he is and weighs 7 lbs and is 10 inches tall.  What a difference between boy and girl!  They have completed all their shots and are VERY active.  They are always play fighting each other (I think they are play fighting but sometimes it gets heated I have to separate them.

Tessa more than Lucca is always on the look out for extra food.  They go crazy when were eating like they are missing out on so much.  They are eating each about 2 1/2 cups a day - in two separate feedings.  Is it a good time to be feeding them once a day now?  I wanted to also talk to you about the new vet vitamins.  I have no problems with Tessa eating them.  She loves them, but Lucca will not eat them.  He plays around and if Tessa is around she waits for Lucca to drop it and eats it on him.  But most of them time he will spit it out.  Any suggestions?

If you need any references for future buyers - you can use us as it has been a pleasure.
Enclosed are some pictures of the dogs.

Take care
Angelo

Hello Julie and family,
Not sure if you remember me or not but my name is Elli and I am the proud owner of Misty, now Bella. I just wanted to give you a little update on Bella. She is doing really well. She is growing very slowly,, she is only 5 lbs but is still very healthy. She has two other Italian greyhound friends, Swift and Sky. Swift is two and Sky is 6 months. Bella has lots of fun running around with them even though she isn't quite fast enough to keep up just yet.
Bella has so much personality and spunk to her that just watching her prance around the house makes me laugh. I can't thank you enough for this little beauty. She really makes even my toughest days easier just to know that I have a little friend waiting for me at home. I have attached a picture onto this e-mail that I took just after I got her. I have taken rolls and rolls of pictures of her but haven't gotten them onto a disc yet. When I get those I will send you more if you like. Thank you again and I hope all is well

Hi! My name is Max and we bought a puppy from you guys
in Dec 2002. We adore him and were thinking of adding
to the family. I looked at your website and wanted to
find out a little more about some of the pups you have
listed. We have two Italian Greyhounds. Henry is three
and Parker (the one we got from you guys) will be two.
My favorite so far is "Albert"
(we love the ones with Pied marking or ones with Blue
and White markings) Can you tell a little about
"Albert" (he does look a little small) what are you
asking for him? Do you have any more pictures of him?

I've attached a picture of Parker, so you can see what
a beautiful little boy he grew up to be.

Hello again--

My boyfriend and I bought one of your Italian Greyhound puppies over Labor Day
weekend last fall. Earl has now been dubbed Fawkes, after the magical bird in
the Harry Potter books. He is getting along very well and is staying caught up
with his vet appointments. I am attaching a couple of pictures of Fawkes, one
when from when we were at your place and a new photo of him now at about six
months old.

Thank you for bringing Fawkes into our lives. He means so much to us!!!

February, 2004

My daughter and I had the pleasure of picking up Walter at the airport for Mike & his fiance who is my granddaughter. It was love at first sight.  He arrived in perfect condition and was not shy in wanting to leap into our arms.  He not only is adorable, he is smart & has a wonderful personality. All of us are enjoying and spoiling him.  We could hardly part with him when he was taken to Mike in Madison, WI where he lives.  I thought you would enjoy seeing a picture of "little" Walter with "big" Mike who is a 6' 8" basketball player for Wisconsin.  The pictures are attached.

The time, expertise and love that all of you invest in your puppies is evident in Walter.

Thanks for the joy!
Diana

Julie, Jeanne, et al,

Just a note to let you know that all the dogs are doing great.

Disco (Merlin) is turning into an extremely handsome boy.  His coloring is changing and he is becoming much more blue around his face and down the middle of his back.  He is the most laid back. Perfect ear set and conformation!

Belle (Pauline) is a real doll.  She is the most submissive of the group.  She initially lost weight since she would go into a corner and not eat if another dog came around.  Tried feeding her in her crate-----no go!.  I was getting worried since her weight loss was noticeable.  Started sitting with her when she ate and guarding her food.  She enjoys the competitiveness of group feeding but wants nothing to do with the squabbles over the bowl.  She has gained all the weight back and is now looking great.  Belle is beautiful, perfect ears, perfect conformation and is coming along great on lead training.  She responds well to the clicker.

Luna (Delana) I can't believe it.  I started giving her the vitamins that you suggested.    Those vitamins are either amazing or she finally got a growth spurt.  She has gone from being the smallest of them all to just an inch shorter than Penny.  All that growth and in just 3 weeks.  Thank goodness, I was starting to freak out. Her ears are great now and she has got the basics of come, sit, lay, stay and down under her belt.

I decided to bite the bullet and try to bathe Penny.  She was an angel!  What a shock.  I expected her to be fighting me the entire time.  She just sat in the sink like a statue.  I messed with her feet every night as she was falling asleep and after about 10 days, clipped them one evening.  No problem.  She even let me shave her whiskers after her bath like the rest of the kids.

We are really enjoying the RRD's as we refer to them.  It stands for Radical Racing Dogs, in reference to way that they fly around the back yard.  Our back yard is 1/3 acre and fenced-in with an eight foot high brick fence.  I let them out 4 times a day for 10 - 15 minutes depending on the weather.  After a good run they come in and lay in their sleeping bags by the fireplace.

Julie, thank you for the tip on the website for litter box training.  They have all mastered the skill and go in to use it.  It was a little tougher for Disco, he likes to lift his leg.  My husband brought home an orange cone from the city and now Disco is thrilled to anoint it.  The girls just need to learn to do their business and get the heck out or he anoints their head at the same time.

April, 2005

Julie,

It has been one week today.  I am so in love I can hardly stand it.  She sleeps in my armpit every night.  I may be creating a monster, but I will live with it.  I've never seen such a happy girl and scary smart.  We have learned stairs already but don't like long stairways. She and my 8 mo min pin have become fast buds.  They race through the house like holy terrors, leaping in the air and spinning around.  I just stay out of the way.

Just wanted to say thanks for the 4 pound hunka hunka burning love you sent my way.  We adore her.
Elise

Thought you would like an update on Blue.  He is  doing well. He loves his brothers and must know where they are at times.  He’s starting to get into the routine of the family and loves to snuggle with all of us at night.  He has such a sweet soul and we are very happy you found him for us.   He loves all his toys.  We have a basket full of them and buy the end of the day he has every single one out of it. We love him very much.  Now all we have to do is continue working on his bathroom habits, although they are getting better.  I attached some pictures for you.  I thought you might like to see the other 2 that came from you also.  Take care and thanks a lot.

December, 2003

Hi there!

We've had the girls almost 10 months now. We finally got a digital camera and thought we would e-mail you some pictures of them. They are doing well. They love our sunny California weather. They are full of energy and personality. They keep us active that is for sure! Remember Roma, the brown and white runt of the litter? Well, I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but she has surpassed her sister in size and stamina. She is almost a full pound larger and she could run a marathon and still want to play fetch! Bella, the black and white pup is so gentle. She is  sweet and loves to cuddle. She has the most expressive eyes and facial expressions. Everyone comments on how beautiful they both are. We will send more pictures soon. We are in the process of moving and will have to send you some shots of them running in their new backyard.

Jeanne -

I thought you might like to see Henry relaxing is his pajamas!  He is so cute and sweet - still wild, but slowing down a little bit.  Thanks for everything!

Hi Jeanne,

We finally named him Murphy or around here the Big Murph, it took us about two weeks to pick a name. Sorry I have not written sooner, but I try to spend all of my time with Murphy. He is such a great dog, and doing very well and getting big real fast. Every one of our family members wants to take him home with them. He still does not like to be put in the kennel but we are trying. Here is a picture of him in his new Halloween costume. I will send more pictures later. I have to go now, but will write again soon.

Hi, Jeanne!
Bailey is doing fine and looking quite puzzled at our two grown kitties. Wondering why they do not bark and jump around like he does. They just kind of sit and stare at him, occasionally hissing if he bounces too close. I'm sure he'll eventually figure out that these two strange animals are really quite friendly, but are not used to his high energy level.
We could not be happier with the puppy and I'm glad you like to continue to hear how your animals are doing in their new homes. You'll probably end up with a whole collection of photos of Bailey as time goes by!
Take care, Jeanne.

Hi, Jeanne!
Wow, has this little guy grown! He's also becoming quite an athlete. He's now able to jump onto every piece of furniture in the living room and make it up...usually on the first try!  The kitties are getting used to him also, so he's really fitting in quite well around here. It's only been a few weeks and already he's become such an important part of the family!

Hi, Jeanne!
Hope you do not think we have forgotten you! Just wanted to send you an update on Bailey. He's doing great and growing like crazy! One slight mishap, as you'll see in the photos, his tail was stepped on (we think) and now appears to be either broken or dislocated. Our vet came and checked him over and gave him his shots last week though, and said not to worry about it. It's perfectly fine and is not bothering him at all, it just looks funny. We may have him attempt to fix it when we have him nuetered. He said it probably is fixable.
Anyway, hope things are well with you.
Take care,
Tom Judd
P.S. He's getting SO FAST now. I like trying to get action shots of him running.

October 3, 1999
Hi, Jeanne!
Don't want you to think we have forgotten you. It's been real busy around here with my business. Lots of corporate work lately which I like.  Bailey has continued to grow like a weed and is now up to nine pounds at just four months of age according to our vet who just came and examined him again last Friday. Maybe he'll get a little larger than first suspected, what do you think? I'm all for it, as now the kitties do not bother him and he actually gets one of them to play with him now occasionally. He's much taller than they are and almost the same weight as well.  He's just turned out to be the ideal pet for our family. All my daughters friends love him and he absolutely never barks. Except sometimes in his sleep. He loves to be held (to my daughter's delight) and he is so entertaining with his antics and jumping around trying to entice the kitties to play. You were right, he runs circles around them nowadays and they cannot even touch him. They have also figured out that he's kind of just a big kid and is no threat to them at all either.  We often get comments on how pretty his coloring is and especially his eyes, which have changed somewhat and now match his coat perfectly.  My wife was wondering since we are keeping a digital photo collection of Bailey, whether you still happen to have that very first photo of him you sent to us? I must have trashed it from my computer, and we'd really like to have a copy of it if you still have it. He looked so scared and tiny because I think you said it was taken at just a week or so of age.  He said he will also try to fix his tail at that point. We have sort of gotten used to it being bent, but I'd sure like it if it were straight again.
Well, that's about it for the updates at this point. Hope all is going well for you and your family.  Take care and we hope to hear from you soon,
Tom Judd

Hi, Jeanne!
Just a few new updated photos of Bailey. He's growing up to be quite a handsome dog!
There are a few photos of Bailey by himself as well as with my daughter  and wife. Hope you like them. Even his bent tail does not look too bad these days.
The interesting thing is, his tail has really darkened (on the top). It's almost black. My sister made the comment the other day that it looks as if he'd dipped it in a can of paint! The underside is still the same color as the rest of him. He's also darkend up some under the chin area. Any ideas about this? I guess it's normal. We hope he remains the color that he is now as we really like it. He's actually become a slightly "warmer" shade. We still sometimes refer to him as our "taupe puppy" when people whom have not seen him ask about his color.
Have a nice weekend!
Tom

November 3, 1999
Hi Jeanne!
It's been awhile, but here's a new photo of Bailey, just taken a couple of hours ago. He's growing up to be quite a handsome young puppy. We are constantly being asked about him whenever we are out walking him. Most people either want to know what breed he is or if he's a whippet. Like us, it seems few people have ever even heard of Italian Greyhounds.
Everyone loves him though and talks about how nice he is and how good looking.
He's still growing and getting stronger. Last vet check up he was nearly 11 pounds and that was a couple of weeks ago when he got stung by a bee or stepped on a fire ant or something in the backyard while my wife was out with him. He was okay, but he kept on carrying on so that we took him to the vet's just to be sure he was okay. They gave him some kind of shot and he had already begun to calm down by then. Later that day he was running around chasing the cats just like nothing had happened.
Better get going. Until next time, take care!

Hi, Jeanne!
Here's the latest photo of Bailey and Chrystal, taken yesterday. Bailey is doing great and has really become such an important part of our family in just a few months. He's begun losing puppy teeth already. We have found a couple on the carpeting while playing with him!
He's enrolled in puppy training classes and doing quite well. He's not really quite got the housebreaking thing down yet, but he's getting better.  Sometimes he'll go for a few days without an accident in the house which is good. I wonder if it's just a IG "thing", but he sure likes to eat his own doo-doo. Sorry about the descriptive language. Any suggestions?
Whenever we take him on daily walks he always draws such attention. It's very commonplace for people to stop their cars and ask what kind of dog he is. It's almost embarrassing when we take him to my daughter's soccer games because there a lot of people that bring their dogs out and Bailey always draws a crowd! People will come up and ask about him while they ignore other more "common" breeds nearby! Ha, ha!
Well, I hope you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
Take care,
Tom Judd
